It is TS Eliot being an anagram of toilets.
It is Tracey Emin having a seal named after her. 

It is playing crazy golf behind someone
who has brought their own clubs.
It is the council clearing away a Banksy
but not your actual rubbish.
It is a drag queen called
Janet District Council. 

It is Dreamland.
It is a bed shop next to Dreamland 

also called Dreamland.
It is going into Scott’s for a screwdriver 

and coming out with a table.
It is stopping for coffee in Forts.
And Big Shot.
And Curve.
And Cliffs.
It is the upstairs table in Xylo;
it is the secret room in Little Swift.

It is two post offices,
one and a half of which are about to close. 

It is Daisy’s deep-fried Babybels
and frozen Kinder Buenos.
It is the best trackie bottoms
that I have ever owned.

It is Christmas markets.
It is marches for Palestine.
It is people.

It is community beach cleans.

It is a New Year’s Day swim in the tidal pool. 

It is a birthday trip to the Crab Museum.
It is pretty much a whole day out

It is Margate Pride being the best day of the year. 

It is jumping off the harbour arm.
It is fireworks on the beach.
It is outdoor cinema at the bandstand.
It is how have I not mentioned the sunsets yet? 

It is the Tom Thumb Theatre.
