A performance poetry night with student performers alongside guest poets Harry Baker & Jay Hulme

Join us for a relaxed and friendly evening of performance poetry showcasing the best spoken word talent on campus. As well as the open mic slots, Speech Bubble will feature professional poets

This event is being organised by our Speech Bubble Co-ordinator for 2022/23, English with Creative Writing student Elizabeth Eastgate. Elizabeth is a past LU Arts scholarship winner and previous performer at Speech Bubble. She works as social media manager for the poetry and art magazine, Mausoleum Press, and publishes her own work across various literary journals, both online and in print. Elizabeth will be your host for the night as well as performing herself.

This event is open to everyone (18+) - students, staff and members of the public.
