Back when it was a tight decision between ‘Harry Baker feat. Chris Read’ and ‘Harry and Chris’, back when we crammed a pub in Edinburgh full of festival-goers for a month, back when we shook a bucket at the end of the show and slept on friends’ floors, we threw together ’The Harry and Chris Show’! A collection of songs from teenage shenanigans, some of Harry’s beautiful poems put to music and a whole joke section in an attempt to win ‘best joke of the fringe’. We had no idea that this ‘act’ (which people started to call it) would take us on four national tours, to TV appearances around the world and back to the fringe three more times. We did have an idea that we were best mates having fun on stage - and that hasn’t changed.
